Okay, now that we have that one checked off the list, you are proballyt wondering what services, programs, and other niceties we have around here.
First up is our weekend service.
We have two service times to choose from, 9am & 11am.
The services are pretty much the same so you just have to ask yourself… Am I a morning person?
Both services have kids church, and live worship, but you are only able to give during the second service… Just kidding, you can give anytime, including right now by clicking here.
Okay, all jocking aside, the youth run a coffe and specialty drink shope before, between, and after each service, called “Encounter Cafe”. Other than being a great addition to service, Encounter Caffe teaches the youth students job skills and gives them real life experience. It also founds all their trips such as summer camp, and Youth Convention. I believe that’s called a win win.
Speaking of the youth, we have a youth program called Encounter Students Ministy on wednesday nights at 6pm. Yes we named the student ministry after the cafe… Or was it the other way arouynd? That’s not important, let’s move on.
We have a great nursery that runs during both services for ages xx – xx ran by Rebecca Zimbler.
Okay, let’s take a quick break and talk about the most exciting church topic known to man.
Background checks.
Okay, maybe not exciting, but definitely super important.
All out volunteers that work with students get very intensive background checks. The highest level we could find. These checks cover all the basics and then get sent to the FBI just to make sure nothing is missed. We believe the safety of our chuldreen is the most important thing in choosing a church. Our staff would never leave there kids with a church that didn’t prioties safty so we don’t expect you too either.
